When you purchase SublimX you also receive a copy of the electronic help file and the online manual for SublimX. Extensive information is provided in the electronic help file and the online manual. When you install SublimX on your computer, the electronic help file and the online manual are automatically installed on your computer, and you may refer to them as you desire. Both documents contain illustrated descriptions of all aspects of the program's operation.
Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT 4, 2000, XP, or later.
Any computer running Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT 4, 2000, XP, or later, with ten (10) MB of free hard disk space and a CD-ROM drive.
When SublimX is running, it is most often sleeping. In that mode SublimX occupies 100 to 150 KB (NOT MB) of RAM memory. This is surprisingly small. SublimX allocates additional memory to deliver its messages. That process is very quick and the memory is released immediately upon message delivery.
The first installation of SublimX® requires approximately 5 MB of hard disk space. Each additional title installed will take approximately 2 to 200 KB depending on the title installed.
Yes, SublimX supports multi-monitor computer systems. Under Windows® 98, ME, 2000, XP, or later versions, more than one monitor may be connected to the same computer. In those systems, before delivering a subliminal message, SublimX automatically detects on which monitor the mouse pointer is located and will display the subliminal message on that monitor. By doing so, SublimX attempts to ensure the delivery of its messages to the user in a way that provides the best opportunity for subliminal perception.
SublimX is designed with a feature that allows it to install automatically and easily. The installation program starts a few seconds after the CD is placed in a CD-ROM drive. You do not need to know anything about the computers beyond what an ordinary user who uses computers. All you need to do is to place the CD in a CD-ROM drive, read and agree with the license agreement, and follow the simple commands that appear on the screen. The installation program will take care of everything else automatically.
SublimX is a highly sophisticated computer program, protected by a pending patent application, which transmits subliminal messages to you while you are at your computer working in any program. Subliminal messages are aimed at the subconscious mind and are not visible to the eye. SublimX does not interfere with the use of the computer. You will continue to use your computer as you have always done.
No. SublimX is designed to work in the background and not to interfere with the use of the computer.
No. After SublimX is installed, there is nothing further for you to do to operate SublimX. The program operates automatically. SublimX starts automatically every time the computer is turned on. You may change this, if you so desire.
No. SublimX does not occupy any space on the desktop screen. The only representation of SublimX that appears on the screen is a small icon (in the shape of a head), which appears in the System Status Tray next to the system clock. While SublimX is working behind the scenes, you may continue to work on your computer as you have always done.
SublimX is designed to operate automatically. It automatically adapts itself to the resources available on your computer. SublimX works faithfully and quietly behind the scenes to send you self-improvement or educational subliminal messages. SublimX will not interfere with your work and will not ask for your attention.
SublimX utilizes a sophisticated procedure for handling common difficulties, which a computer program may encounter during its operation. This procedure addresses almost all problems that may be encountered by a computer program.
In rare situations when the computer may be extraordinarily busy performing other tasks, SublimX utilizes a complex algorithm to address the situation. For example, if SublimX determines that the computer is busy doing intensive work and cannot easily allocate resources, it will put itself to sleep for a short period of time. If this happens a few times, SublimX will determine that the computer is busy with other tasks and will send you a notice. This is a very rare situation. (For an event like this to happen, you must have opened an enormous number of windows and they all must be heavily busy doing active work.). After issuing the notice, SublimX puts itself to sleep for a longer period of time and will stay out of the way of other applications with which you are working. After SublimX wakes up, if the computer is still busy and cannot allocate sufficient resources to allow SublimX to do its job, SublimX will terminate itself. Thereafter, you can restart SublimX or SublimX will automatically restart the next time the computer is turned on.
Generally, users cannot see SublimX working. Subliminal messages are not visible to the eye. With some older monitors, video display cards, and particular color schemes it is possible to see a small flash on the screen. Note that SublimX has a special feature that allows the users to put SublimX in slow motion and see how it works.
Messages are displayed very rapidly. SublimX usually sleeps in the background. It wakes up every so often, delivers a message for a fraction of a second, and goes back to sleep. You can adjust the interval between successive instances of message delivery and the duration of messages.
SublimX contains an algorithm, which decides on the location where the message is to be displayed. The actual location (on the screen) where the messages are displayed changes for each instance of message delivery. SublimX decides on the exact location based on the location of the mouse immediately prior to message delivery. The purpose is to deliver the message within the user's field of view.
SublimX allows you to browse or print a list of all subliminal messages or check the last message delivered. In addition, SublimX has a special feature that allows you to slow down the message delivery process and see how SublimX works in slow motion.
Yes. If a you purchase multiple titles of SublimX, you can simply install them over each other in the same folder. The Setup program will take care of all conflict resolutions.
When multiple titles of SublimX are installed on the same computer, SublimX simply rotates (at random) through all installed titles and displays the messages contained in those titles.
SublimX comes with an extensive electronic manual and an illustrated help file. Both contain colorful and illustrative pictures to explain all facets of the program's operation and to help you with any problems or questions.
